Calm before / after the storm!

I took this on my way to work this morning - and on my way home I had to pull over until the rain subsided. I couldn't see the road!!! Flooded roads and branches down.
An hour later, we returned to these blue skies. Weird weather.

Got my fire on for an evening's knitting and a DVD! Mmmmmm. Mid week luxury!!
