When I drop my doctor off at his office, I can
usually drive to my house, and then return to pick him up 5-6 hours later.

 
But...today he went to his second office, quite a
ways from my house. I didn't feel like I should go home...so I had 6 hours to
kill.
 
I told the doc I would get the oil changed in his
van. Even though it wasn't my money...let's weigh the options. $35.95 at a
quick-change place, or $12.95 at a local car-dealer. I opted for the $12.95.
Cons? It took me 2 hours and 23 minutes to get the job done. Pros? 1.The price.
2. You have to wait in your car...so I finished my Billy Crystal book. 3. Once
they get your car in the garage...you get to wait in the customer lounge. FREE
POPCORN and FREE COFFEE!! The popcorn was tasty, and it made me wish I liked
coffee. I can't stand it...the taste or even the smell.
 
14 bucks with tax...then I was headed across the
street to Sams Club and Walmart. I like to go to Sams, and check out the
cameras. They don't have the high end like Costco does...but they have enough to
hold my interest.
 
I left there, and went to a garden center...where I
got this picture. The garden centers are winding down. Only what they call "fall
flowers" left. According to them..."MUMS the word."
 
Finished my day at Best Buy...again drooling over
the cameras. Picked up the doc, and got home about 7 p.m.
Tired.
