Balls!

23 months (100 weeks today!)

We've loved today! Lots of funness. We met Ava and her mummy this morning and the girls had a fabulous couple of hours tearing round the play centre. They were both very brave today, trying things they dont normally go on. Katie seems to have gotten over her slide fear, although she's still cautious! She tried a rope bridge that she's not done before. And was running at very high speed over and over. Oddly though, she was very afraid of the changing room!

After we'd seen them, we went and got some lunch, she scoffed a variety of several things before flaking out within moments of the car setting off. We went and picked up Abi and Jack, took them to town for a bit of a walk before we headed to the swimming pool.

I was so delighted to see "my Katie" back in the swimming pool, Saturday's bizaare turn behind her. She was in major make up mode - the biggest splashes, bounces, 1,2,3 under's. Sarah passed us and laughed "feeling better is she then?" I love seeing her have so much fun in the water.

We got home to a parcel. It contained 2 utterly gorgeous slings. We tried the mei-tai this evening and both loved the snuggle. I gave our slings away, but Katie's decided being carried appeals a bit more again now when we're out and about! Katie's now playing with a box of sticklebricks that we've been given - I loved them when I was a child (Ok, I still love them now!)

In other news - a spare spare Monkey has finally been found!!
In Mummy other news - the camera is finally on its way from Olympus to me!

*has 12 teeth
*weighs 23lbs
*is in the third class at gymnastics now
*started nursery, in the 2-3's room
*has conquered her fear of slides!
*says some cute little sayings/words now "careful its hot", "sit down for cuppa tea", "cant see you" "raining and sunny - it's magic!" (rainbow from tweenies)
*is trying very hard to learn colours - yellow is her favourite
*can recognise and name the Radley dog.
*will only wear her wellies to go out in.
