Day 11 - Las Vegas

A fine sleep followed by brekkie in bed - I arose first so it was down to the coffee shop for lattes, fresh fruit salad and a muffin, once I'd queued up behind the orthopaedic practioners conference goers - AOPA delegates. I'm in the right place if I need a new leg this week...

Then we both ventured out, going to TI then the Palazzo and Venetian, before having a cheeky midday game of roulette in the Imperial Palace. As usual we were up before losing it all. As Brandon says - the house will always win. Back to the Mirage for some pool time and then out around 5pm to the Aria by cab. Picked up our tickets for Viva Elvis and had a quick mooch around the new hotel and casino - very nice.

Took our seats (more of a VIP couch) for the show and as usual it was an outstanding Cirque du Soleil bonkersly entertaining performance, the highlight being Suspicious Minds. Up there with Beatles Love. We left with big grins on our faces, and followed it with supper in Wolfgang Pucks Cucina in the new Crystals complex - excellent pizza and salad with a glass of red each. Explored the rest of CityCenter - its amazing what they've created in just a few years. Great new venues in LV.

Headed back via the Bellagio to say hello, then returned to the Mirage for a nightcap in the Japonais lounge, won a small amount on the slots, and now bed...
