Look! A Tram!

I fully expect that this might be lost on non-Edinburg types, but it was a standard comment every time we saw a tram in Budapest to joke about the novelty of them actually running - unlike in our dear home city.

Mind you, I can't decide if it was comforting or not to discover from our hosts that their trams are equally beset with issues, with lines having to be relaid every year... hmmm...

It was fab to see them everywhere though - and love this old style too.
