Sandstorm

Today we went to Kynance Cove and the Lizard to see some beautiful craggy landscapes and then ventered on to St Michaels Mount where we had the obligatory Cornish pastie and cream tea (is it jam and cream or cream and jam on the scones? I say jam and cream which is the Cornish way apparently). When we walked across the beach it was like walking across the Sahara! It was so windy when we walked back across the causeway that we all ended up with a mouthful of sand.

Then we went to the aquarium back in Newquay and had a blustery wander along the beaches. In the evening we had a fantastic dinner at a place called Kahuna on the beach front where there was some very good crackling to be had.
