Victory at Tintagel

We drove down to the ruins of Tintagel Castle and while we were at the top of the cliff waiting for the tide to go out (so we could investigate Merlin's Cave underneath) we saw this guy swimming out to the rock in the cove. He was being watched by some friends on the shore and managed to battle against the fairly massive waves to clamber up. It's not something I would ever attempt! We also spotted some seals when we went down on to the beach and I've decided that dogs in Cornwall must have a pretty cushy life.

After that we went to have some fish and chips in Padstow.
