Evening mediocrity

I'm talking about the photo, not the sky - it was lovely. Chilly evening tonight, and seems to be getting dark far too early!

First lecture of the year this afternoon went quite well, on Early Modern European Rural Society - ran out of time, but thankfully it was fairly easy to cut something. Back tomorrow to cover Urban Society, which I find much more interesting!

Incidentally I went for a run with a friend on Saturday - 6.6miles in 1 hour - i.e. extra half mile with no extra time. It's going well, though we'll see how I get on tomorrow....
