Daddy's little helper
My son got up at 4:15am this morning so that he could watch the Wales vs Samoa rugby game. We'd had a discussion about it over dinner last night and I'd told him that it would be better if he recored it and then watch it as soon as he got up. He insisted that he was going to get up and watch it live.. He promised me he'd go back to bed.
When I got up at 8am he was still on the sofa and had not gone back to bed!
I picked up daughter #2 from her friend's where she'd had a sleepover and she looked absolutely exhausted.
Piano lessons resumed today. After nearly two months of no piano lessons over the summer holiday, the kids were thrilled that their Sunday morning is once again dedicated to piano lessons (not!).
Hubby spent most of the day finishing off the front garden. Daughter #2 spent her day helping him. She loves gardening.
My son went to the park on his bike to meet his friend. He took his tennis racquet and cricket set. Around 4pm, I took the girls for a bike ride and we went to the park where my son was. I got to play a bit of tennis and cricket. Playing tennis with flip flops is not easy. Whilst we were at the park, hubby was cooking roast dinner and when we got home, dinner was about to be served.
The kids were all really tired and were fast asleep by 8:30pm.
