Helping Dad
An early start to the day having to drop off my son at school for rugby.
When I got back home, I picked up hubby and the girls and we went to a local garage to look for a new car. Daughter #2 had volunteered to help bag groceries at Tesco's to try and raise funds for a new minibus for her school.
Hubby picked her up just before 1pm and dropped her and daughter #1 to kayaking. Daughter #1 didn't want to go kayaking and said that she wanted to quit. We told her that it was a lovely, warm sunny day and that she should go. Shortly after hubby dropped them off, the heavens opened and there was heavy rain for the rest of the afternoon. When I picked the girls up at 4pm, daughter #1 said that the instructor thinks she is very good and she should now go kayaking three evenings a week as well as Saturday afternoon!
When my son came back from rugby (they lost) he helped hubby dig up the front garden in the rain. There was mud everywhere!
I dropped off daughter #2 at her friend's for a sleepover and in the evening, I went to a friend's party with hubby and daughter #1.
