Mushroom Hunting

We spent the morning doing our Sunday chores. Mr Lif ironing, me hoovering and flitting a duster gently around the rooms. Then we had a bit of a cookfest where I made up some meringues (I NEVER make pudding stuff but we had defrosted the fridge and there was a punnet of strawbs and no room for them - so Eton Mess was on the menu) I also made some leek and potato soup for lunches and himself made up the mix for his now infamous yorkies

After lunch we headed down to Tentsmuir. It was raininig but warm and no wind. We plodded on for 4 or 5 miles. Funghi all around. So I did my usual, stop, chuck brolly to the side, blip, blip again and move on :)

Home and wet trousers removed. A phone call to Mike's Sis Barbs to see how Alan is doing. He is still in hospital. Improving but still weak. He has lost a lot of weight and tires easily. Still a lot better than being in ITU where he was this time last week. Lets hope this week sees him home

Full bellies now - Lamb shanks with mint sauce and the Eton mess...yum!

Why do weekends disappear so quickly?
