Copper-Bottomed
Another walking tour today but rather less organised than yesterday.
After a false start when we had thunder, lightning and rain, we started off at Montmartre and Sacre Coeur then after a snack took the Metro to see the Latin quarter, where this nice collection of copper pans is a sign for a cafe, not a cookshop.
Many churches later (including St Sulpice, which I thought very gloomy),the Pantheon and the Jardins du Luxembourg we headed for dinner at the Chartier restaurant. This was nothing like the place we remembered from 35 years ago but interesting all the same.
The weather stayed fine and quite warm all day so we're back at the apartment with air-con on and the feet up.
