Pearl's a singer

This is not the best of pictures, and doesn't really do this piece of jewellery any justice. It is best to view this in large format to see the colours.
This lariat style necklace, in pearl, chalcedony, amazonite and 925 silver, was made yesterday by June.
"Ah," I hear you cry, "The pearls are not white."
Well, like diamonds, pearls are not always White, or even cream in hue.
These are potato pearls, not because they are found in potatoes, that would be silly, and and a tad dangerous, especially half-way through your baked tattie and cheese; no they are called thus because if their shape, which resembles said vegetable.
Okay, okay. I know that potatoes come in all shapes and sizes, but let's not be pedantic about it, I never named them.
Anyway nobody likes a pedant.
That is not true, I love the art of pedantry.
So, this pearl is not really a singer, more of a swinger.
