Jonathan Livingstone
Seagull.
A juvenile, or should it be called a pre-adult, Herring Gull I think. This is actually an endangered species, although around here there are so many nobody would believe it. They do make a lot of noise, especially when the tide is turning - I suppose they're telling each other it's fish time?
I blipped this one as it caught the updraught above the cliff top, just before it stalled and dived beachward. And yes, the sky was that colour, wonderful weather for September here again (he smirks). Sorry for all those in slightly wetter areas of the country.
