Big School Girl!

I think that I'm an ice queen .. or I'm just comfortable with the way life is panning out.

I bundled the girls into the bike trailer this morning and rode the 15 minute ride to take Clara to her first day at school. Parked up and went round to the reception class, I made sure to give Clara a good luck kiss on as she got out of the trailer .. we went in, found a spare hook for her coat and put her packed lunch bag away then took her to the classroom. She self registered herself in and then went off to play with the other children at the sandpit. Not even a look back. 15 minutes later and me and Storm are home watching Cbeebies, the house is so quiet. I'm going to take Storm for a walk to town to grab some lunch in a little while.

I wasn't emotional, I'm so just proud that Clara is confident enough to run off to play. She's been going to nursery from 8-6 since she was 16 months old so we're used to that sort of of routine. I hope that she has a wonderful day, I'm looking forward to spending lots of one on one time with little Storm now!
