A Peg and a Bug!

Today was the first dry day weather wise we've had in ages so managed to get 4 washing machine loads of dirty washing out to dry on the line. Whilst I was pegging out, this bug decided to land in my peg basket so I thought he was a perfect candidate for a blip! I managed to get him to climb onto this peg and he was quite happy to stay there while I ran in to get my camera and start snapping away! I have no idea what bug this is but he certainly is a very photogenic one at that!
After I'd finished pegging out the washing it was time to go to Weightwatchers where I discovered that I had lost 3 1/2 pounds in my first week!! I was soo chuffed with that as I didn't think I'd lost any! I will be slim again by Christmas!
My final trip of the day was over to Caerphilly to see the end of Stage 4 of the Tour of Britain Cycle Race. It doesn't sound so grand as the Tour de France does it?!!! I managed to grab a perfect spot in the town centre to snap some pics of the riders etc. and experience my 1st ever attempt at sports photography. And boy, it certainly was exciting stuff! I couldn't believe the speed the cyclists were travelling at and how close together they were, definitely great to see, and great to see loads of people out supporting and cheering the riders.
Unfortunately I didn't get to the Castle in time to take some pics of the winner crossing the line but I think this is him! I have no idea what his name is or what country he's from tho!.
I can now see why the Tour de France is so well supported, very exciting sport to watch.
And finally, hubby Matthew will be completing the 95 mile West Highland Way tomorrow, 2 days ahead of schedule, despite the horrendous weather conditions he's had to endure the past 5 days. Today was the first day it stopped raining and blowing a gale! His pal Ian, unfortunately had to pull out on Monday but is now waiting for Matt to arrive in Fort William tomorrow. Matt will then finish his adventure by climbing Ben Nevis! He's joined up with quite a few people along the way, he was walking with 4 Israeli chaps for a couple of days and today he's been walking with a guy called Jim from Aberdeen.
Can't wait for him to get home now, have missed him loads x
