Arsenic? Strychnine? And this is medicine!
Waiting for a place to open first thing this morning I perused the windows of neighbouring shops.
In a pharmacist's window they had a display of old pharmacological instruments and potions.
I think upon looking at this that I might have stuck with the malaria!
An absolutely fabulous display of interesting artifacts and a note on the history of th eplace in the window.
I think we should support our local pharamcies and protect our history. Would be a shame if we couldn't peruse medicinal highly poisenous remedies of a morning wouldn't it.
On a further note, I took the new motorbike again today and exactly at the same time, in the same place as Monday. It cut out. I pushed it over to the side of the road. Tried everything but had to wait a few minutes before it would start again. Wasn't a vacuum problem after all.
Will call the garage first thing tomorrow.
Hope it will get sorted fast.
Oh and huuuuuge meltdown from our 3 year old on the way to bed. Boundaries pushed. Having to learn that being nice to other people is important rather than just demanding what you want. A tough lesson for a wee person to learn.
Hope it was blue skies for everyone today and folks enjoyed seeing the back of the awful weather.
Tootle pip until tomorrow.
