The weir at Bridge of Allan. Climate change?

After the storm, remnants of Hurriane Katia, swept through central Scotland today the Allan Water is in flood.

Normally September is one of the best months to visit Scotland.

This year, after a non-existentt summer, we have gone straight to winter.
Is this just a weather blip ( sorry about that) or another sign of our changing climate?
