Long Shadows

Out for an early morning walk in the woods around our local golf course in Bridge of Allan. This pic is taken under the flight path of the notorious 7th tee.

To reach the 7th green you have to drive over the oak tree, its shadow shown here, into a cul-de-sac at the bottom of an upland valley.

Needless to say the woods provide excellent hunting grounds for lost balls.
