Allotment show

In amongst a lot of driving about doing various errands and trying to avoid the traffic jams caused by Edinburgh's "Riding of the Marches" (eh?), we popped into the Southside community centre to have a nose round the annual allotment show. In comparison with the entries at the village show in Sibford that we visited recently, the standard was distinctly underwhelming - with the honourable exception of the prize-winning vegetable monster!
