Thistle Court

Believed to be one of the earliest surviving buildings of Edinburgh's New Town, numbers 1 and 2 Thistle Court unusually stand at right angles to the street. Today, they are occupied as offices and handsome they are.

Unfortunately, numbers 3 and 4, facing them across the courtyard, are now an electricity transformer, and look like it, faceless and lifeless, though doubtless useful.
