one tomato sauce

remember that honker of a tomato from yesterday? after unfortunately cracking due to being dropped on the ground, something had to be done with it even though it was a little under-ripe. so this morning i whipped up some tomato sauce for a pasta dinner later in the week!

extra bonus: such a huge tomato means just one will make a whole quart of sauce. holy tomato!
