....Get out in that kitchen....

One of my first blips was of my new lab, ultra modern, state of the art materials and cutting edge design. The only problem was that I had been led to believe I could pick my own colour scheme and opted for red....but the powers that be decided on blue....and I'm not keen on blue....United play in red...the noisy neighbours play in blue!

This is Jo's new food tech room....it's the third redesign the room has had in thirty years.....and she's got similar fittings to the labs, nice tops, flashy taps, lots of curves....but she also got the red!

They've moved her into the room next to me while the work is being done.....she's little, feisty and very loud....it's a good job it's only for a week or two.

First week over....everyone knackered....pressure starting already....just seen tonight that the politicians are coming up with more hare-brained ideas.....personally I've stopped listening.......we are currently taeching a course that will be defunct two years after it started...just enough time to get one cohort through....what if it produces excellent results?....and the replacement is crap? How long until I can retire?

Never mind....kids fishing match tomorrow....so no lie in for me....got to be at the ponds for 8.15 to sort out everything for the draw etc...then ovet to the S&H and YH for the evening....my match on Sunday....a beer Sunday night....and then back to the grindstone!
