...Happy Birthday to ya......

The Boss' birthday today.

Sssshhhh, don't tell any one but she's 54....that makes me a toy boy again....married to an older woman.

This is her relaxing before she sets off for the last night shift....three more to do next week then that all of them for September done. She tends to drift a bit between pastimes, obviously number 1 is her garden, and she does the quiz with me every Thursday night (when she's not working) but she won't play in The Monday night Quiz League.....say's it's something about me being too competitive....moi? as if!....but she drifts between reading, crosswords, knitting...and just recently she dragged out these tapestries (?), the bloke on the left is finished and she's well on with the female. I think the last time she did one of these was about 10 years ago....I know that the kids had mice at the time because she went to bed one night and left the wools too near the cage...we woke next morning to two white mice in the most amazing multi-coloured nest!....she shouted at them...."You little buggers!" You've never seen two more guilty looking mice....ever.

Anyway....birthday...celebrations on hold until Saturday when we are invited over to Charlotte's for the evening....so just cards and flowers today.

On the Charlotte front....she's learned to roll over from her back to her front...usually so that she can see the TV!....but she can't go back....so her movement is still limited....but it won't be long now.

Should be a reasonable day at work tomorrow....only two lessons...top set year 9 and top set year 11....little cherubs the Head calls them....and who knows?...... might even get to go to an after work meeting with hebs.

Quiz league starts again next week so gird your loins....every Monday will be a report of the proceedings and a few brain teasers for you. Didn't win the quiz tonight....second by one point 44-45....because we didn't habe the nerve to rish Steve Davies as the answer to one of the last 10questions...if we had we'd have had 10/10 plus 5 bonus ponts and won by 5 points. Bollocks!
Never mind there's always next week.
