Happy Anniversary K!

Thank you K for a wonderful first year of marriage. However we celebrate with our last day of walking in Corsica, first a 650m climb back out of the valley to the ridge above Haut Asco at 2100m.

On this trip I have learnt two new words that will stick...first Mouflant (we almost see one today) and Doucement, as Alan says regularly to those of us that rush up the mountain!

This ridge is the final one of the walk, from here we just traverse to a couple more ridges and descend to 700 m, some 12 km further down the valley!

Tonight K & I dine in Calvi on Moule Frites! Unfortunately our clothes are in Bastia, so a trip to Super U for some evening wear!
