Kefalonia Day 5

Had a superb day out in the Jeep today............took todays blip as we passed by Argostolie, which is the main town here on Kefalonia.
The picture show's the Koutavos Lagoon to the left of the Drapano Bridge, the lagoon is home to numerous types of wading birds.
There's a quay to the right of the picture where the fishing boats tie up every morning to offload their catches, regular as clockwork the turtles turn up to eat the scraps the fishermen throw over the sides of their boats.
We spent the afternoon at Vatsa Beach, a very small cove with golden sand, a small taverna, and just a hand full of other people.........
Just stunning............if you ever visit Kefalonia, you have to visit Vatsa Beach........
