Hair style

Today consisted of taking grandma to her hair appointment, grocery shopping (big ughhh), minimum day, violin lessons, dental cleanings of all 3 boys (all 3 cavity free) and then.....it was off to the salon we went. When I said 'salon', Liam freaked. He's been wanting to grow his hair out and it's in this in-between stage. I knew a barber isn't the place to go but that's all HE's known. He freaked because he thought I was taking him to a 'girl' place. :) "Only girls go to salons, right mom?" I had to reassure him that indeed men also go to this place. I insisted that he have his hair thinned out so we can get rid of this bowl appearance at the top of his head while he's growing out his hair....after all, this is the first of my 3 boys who had ever wanted their hair longer. He picked out a style out of a book that he'd like his hair to resemble once it's longer. In the end of the appointment, I realized it's actually almost to that point already. Boy did he like the treatment at the salon after all...shampooing massage and all! hee hee
