Jesmond Dene

After a hearty breakfast we headed off for a walk down Jesmond Dene - where I haven't been since I was a kid. It's a public park in a wooded valley just north of central Newcastle and was set up as such by Lord (?) Armstrong (who was a defence manufacturer and also set up Cragside in Northumberland). It's a really fab park, with a long walk beside the burn, various fields for ball games, an old water mill, and a kids zoo and aviary.

Anyway, this is me mucking about with silly water effects.
