Man throwing boy from bridge

Not sure what was going on here. A couple of blokes on the Tyne Bridge were fixing up a wire from the bridge to the water below. We were expecting some abseiling action so hung around. They then lowered down a bouy, and let go of the rope.

Bizarre.

We're on a brief break away from the kids (it's not like they're horrible or anything, but we do make a point of having an anniversary treat alone). Meal out tonight in Jesmond so we spend the day wandering about in the rain - enjoying the fact that we didn't have to find playgrounds/toilets/water every five minutes. But it did rain all day so we inevitably just headed for a pub.

Great meal though (Jesmond Dene House).
