Nicotiana.
I picked a fairly easily identifiable flower today. Nicotiana. I suppose it must have a connection with the tobacco plant with a name like that. The modern varieties are like modern sweet peas, with hardly any scent at all. They are however a very pretty star shaped flower. These, along with ice plants and annual Lavatera, seem to be absent from most garden centres. These plants are good value, and are still flowering quite profusely.
Adios.
