THE DARK SKY

gave way to an overall blue one and we went to the sea in the afternoon. The wind blew very hard, sandstorm over the beach. It attracted the kite surfers and many of them were enjoying themselves enormously. We watched them gliding over the water and jumping in the air. I did my best to make photos of the jumps, not an easy job. Only one I could use for the blip.
There fell for a short time a heavy rain, not too wet we came home for tea.
I read my poem for the project and it was a melodious one of Verlaine.
Dans l'interminable ennui de la plein, la neige incertaire Luit comme du sable.
In the endless Tedium of the plain, The shifting snow Glistens like sand.
The first four lines, it is such pleasure to read it aloud for myself.

My haiku:

Far above the waves
See shine the grayish dark clouds
Fly bird fly sky high

The proverb:

Fly, and you will catch the swallow.
