Last day

To mark the official end of the holidays we had a last minute trip out, plus it meant we could buy the last part of the p.e. kit in time for school.

Food always plays a part in tripartite for me, so we treated ourselves to afternoon tea and to hell with the diet! Although I was thankful that once I got home and worked it all out I was still in the black. I am determined to fit into my jeans in time for girly weekend.

I do love the look of macaroons, they are so colourful and dainty and I must have a go at making them. Maybe I should make that my new recipe to learn before Christmas, or maybe considering how busy it gets I should leave it until the new year.
