Glad on the tiles
Mrs Booty received some flowers from her work colleagues yesterday, amongst them some very striking Glads.
The background is one of approximately 7,000 tiles removed from our daughter's house when they rebuilt the roof. They are known in Cornwall as 'Peggies,' held in place for the past 100+ years by a tiny wooden peg, and of course the weight of the slate.
