Golden Poppies

Wow.... am I really three weeks behind on posting Blips?

Been hella busy with home repairs, scouting, sports, and workshop travel... Anyway, I'm back with this shot of my favorite flower, the Golden Poppy. My car is in the shop so I was on foot today taking care of back-to-school errands and doctors appointments.

Good day for it with warm weather and sunny skies. I like walking. It makes one slow down and allows you to take in the scenery enabling you to pause and ponder sights that would normally zip right by unnoticed from your car window.

Not to mention we can all use a bit more exercise...
