Swanprey

So, are you a footie fan or a rugby fan? For my part, if I had to choose between the two it would be rugby every time. I like a good old rugby match.

In my part of the world you're either following Swansea City Football Club or the Ospreys Rugby Team. Hence my title for this blip and the photograph taken this evening. It's the Liberty Stadium in Swansea, the home of both teams. My Mother bought my Dad for his 70th birthday, a seat for life in the Liberty Stadium when both teams moved there in July 2005. We laugh when we tell people that, because whilst it is a seat for life, it was a 70th birthday present - get it?????

Dad is and always has been a rugby fanatic. However, since he has had his seat, he has followed the Swans also and now enjoys both. Obviously, this year he is in for a real treat with the Swans now promoted to the Premier League. The plus side for me is any concerts that are held in the Liberty Stadium I get to go because he has free tickets and isn't interested in "pop" etc.

Tonight, Dad was happy. His beloved Ospreys won 27-3 against Leinster. Its a shame the Swans have yet to score a goal.

Perhaps rugby is best after all !!!!
