Somewhere Else
Parked the car up and went for a good walk through the woods after work today. Just me and a shopping trolley. Have not the foggiest idea how a shopping trolley managed to make it's way a half mile into the woods along a dirt track when the nearest store using them is probably two miles away. The Clackmannan Young Team are indeed martyrs to the cause.
Back on track with this week's theme today; more standing in the middle of roads and taking in stuff straight off in the distance. The good doctor commented earlier (cheers!) that these shots were maybe an indication that I was wishing to be somewhere else rather than work. That kind of clicked and as I wandered along the track where Euan and I had cycled on one of our summer expeditions I felt myself getting all nostalgic about that - if it's possible to be nostalgic about something that happened around a month back. Maybe the theme should be less some-where and more some-when else.
Anyway, it's Friday, it's a long weekend and we've, cycling, paintballing, a stop-over in Edinburgh for me and the missus and some wandering around galleries to come before having to think about work again. And there's an open bottle of red waiting to ease us through an evening of music on BBC4 (they want to shut down this channel for what reason again?).
One man and his dog.
