Family Day Out to Llangorse Lake in Powys

Today was a fab day, perfect weather and the best company; my 2 girls and hubby. We decided on driving over to Llangorse Lake in the Brecon Beacons which is only an hour away to enjoy a picnic and go walking.
Once we'd parked up, the girls decided they were"starving"!! so our picnic was consumed within half an hour and then we went which was enjoyed by all (apart from me!)boating on the lake.
Once we'd moored up, we went back to the car and booted up to go off on our 4 mile hike around the lake. This was sooo lovely, so muchwildlife and stunning scenery to take in.
After 2 hours we were back at the car and on our way to Talgarth to go to the recently restored Talgarth Mill which was featured on BBC1 "Village SOS", but to our disappointment it had just closed so to drown our sorrows, we ended up in the Castle Inn in Llangorse village for some well deserved liquid refreshment.
