spot the shy one

this is a totally shameless kitten-blip. I don't even like cats.

today I met up with a group of old friends for a virtual pint. In fact, we haven't left the virtual pub yet...so I won't be staying long in Blipland tonight.

short explanation on cider: in American English (which I, for some reason, gravitate towards) cider is a non-alcoholic apple juice. That's what we make. Having tried cider in the USA, I know it's closer to what we make than what the British call apple juice. However, cider in UK English, has alcohol in it. Cidre is apple wine, closer to the English cider but not quite the same. Here we make "sweet" apple juice (Süssmost) - which is what we make i.e. non-alcoholic - and "sour" apple juice (Suuremos(ch)t) that varies from being an apple wine sold in reputable establishments to being a rough old scrumpy that you can kill with...if you visit the right old farmer who brews his own.....
