Getting old together
Went for another walk today - more pictures of trees, squirrels, one mushroom for pippiline, more trees, cows and sheep - and some people watching.
As some point we crossed path with this old man and his dog - both walking slowly, the dog trailing behind the man and having more trouble.
I thought there was something both hopeful and melancholic about this, as if both possibly remembered having a much easier time of this not that long ago, but at least we're still going!
I can only hope that in so many years I am still able to go up a park hill faster than my dog (I'll have a dog by then!)
