Sorry, It's a No
Edinburgh has returned to normal - well almost if you manage to stay away from the Royal Mile. Streets are no longer packed with hoardes of tourists and performers. A calmness has descended. It feels good to get my city back.
Despite this, this young man was performing all the ball skills he knew - keepie uppies, knee stuff, headers, spins, funny side leg kicks, back of the shoulder blade ball stops, ball on the head seal like stands and this odd twisting manouvre. (Note to Undertones - lets not compare this to the silky skills of the Hibees please!)
Her Majesty however, like her great great grandmother before her, appeared to be 'Not Amused'. Either that or she had fallen asleep.
One wonders if she should have taken on the role of new judge in the latest Britain's Got Talent show, or whether she would be better off at home with Philip, a Gin and a bit of Footie on the telly - at least then she could slip into something a bit more comfortable?
This is one of my favourite views of the city and in recent months I have been so upset by the number of people up and down 'my' street.
