EICC
Busy day at the end of a busy week but with a night out to see Sarah Millican at the EICC planned there was at least something to look forward too. Just before going in I shot this from the bridge over the western approach road. It probably meant we were a few people later in the ginormous queue that was forming for the unreserved seating of the show but at the time we were blissfully aware of this.
Before the show we managed to get a table in Chop Chop to sample the Unlimited Banquet for Two. Marvellous fayre, the best crispy chilli beef I've ever tasted. The prawn dumplings were a bit salty but it was the taste of the sea kind of salty rather than sodium chloride overload. Service was a bit haphazard but the food made up for everything.
Sarah Millican was hilarious, though of course I can't remember a single joke. Suffice to say we were very happy with the whole evening.
EDIT:
I bought a Blu-Ray player. Nearly forgot to mention it. It's 3D, which I ain't really bothered about but it was the last one in the shop and was £100 instead of £300 and it does everything I want, so the 3D is just a bonus.
