Nice To Meet You

We had a huge patch of milkweed volunteer in our garden this year. Now the kids are bringing the catapilars in by the handful. We kept a few in jars and have been mesmerized by their ferocious appetite (we make sure they get a fresh milkweed leaf daily) and their transformation into the chrysalis. Today the first one made it out successfully. The kids took turns "hosting" it while it dried its wings. Amazing!
