Shiny happy rose hips

I looked at the word "shiny" long enough to start doubting I was spelling it right...

Anyway, the hips are on some bushes on the edge of waste ground at the back of my work. Still a way off from being ripe, but quite photogenic all the same.

It was a toss up between choosing this, and a "revisited" dome photo from the former Savings Bank. But I hate to pass up an appealing flower or plant when I'm not sure how much longer it will be about, with the days shortening and cooling.
