The best bit about my day........

It's a sad day in our house. We took Daisy to the vets and as we already knew, there is nothing left they can do.......

The vet offered to keep her at the surgery today for further tests and monitoring but we both agreed that this would not make Daisy any better and she would be happier at home with lots of TLC.

There's not a dry eye in our house tonight - we are taking it one day at a time and our lovely vet Gemma is ready to be there when we ( and Daisy ) are ready to go.

I went out for a meal with a friend tonight to try and cheer myself up. The meal was lovely but I am still awfully sad.

Back at home now for cuddles with our special girl...........
