A bit too late
..for these two Cape Turtle Doves, searching for a morsel of left overs i've put out on the lawn. In a few minutes there were six different species of birds, pecking like mad to get their share. I have noticed a Crested Barbet, a few Cape White-eye (they are the tiniest i've seen down here), some Indian Mynas, a pair of Redeyed Bulbul and even a Hadida!! Fortunately for the smaller birds, they
finished the food before Mr Hadida appeared. He is about ten times (if not more)
the size of the others.
