Crusty the Crab

Most crabs are pretty crusty. This one which I found down by the sea this morning is crustier than most. That's because he is an ex crab. A defunct crab. Indeed a dead crab, dried out by the combined effects of the sun and the wind.

If I don't get a move on, I may end up as an ex human being. We have a man coming at some time in the next hour to inspect our sun room. Like most sun rooms it is far too hot in summer and far too cold in winter, so we are investigating the possibility of having it roofed with tiles or whatever they use and a low ceiling built, along with all the necessary insulation. Like all tradesmen, he may or may not actually put in an appearance. Time will tell.

I have also missed the deadline for submissions to "Photo Ireland", the annual publication of The Irish Photographic Federation (equivalent of the Royal Photographic Society in the UK). As the editor is currently in hospital, I may gain a late entry if I get the shots prepared, burned to disc and posted by tomorrow morning, so, busy evening coming up. Will get back here as soon as possible.
