Sad News

Was already homebound this morning when I read a news article from home.

The news mentioned my hometown, Baguio City. Apparently, there were another set of landslides that occured as a strong typhoon swept north of the country over the past few days. Sad to say there were 2 casualties. And when I asked a few friends back home, it turned out, there were actually three in the same area and about 7 from the different parts of the country. The typhoon was the strongest one to date for this year.

I could attest to how things can go out of hand at times. You can always prepare, but sometimes, maybe you couldn't prepare enough.

I hope everyone's safe back home. Praying for the families who've lost their love ones in this tragedy.
