Gathering the harvest

Bank Holiday Monday.....Spent most of the day at my allotment digging up the last of the potatoes, cutting courgettes and picking runner beans.

As spring came early so it seems has autumn. A warm but cloudy day spent chatting to fellow allotmenteers and drinking coffee. (I have all the mod cons in my shed!)

Vera (the chicken) is on day 6 of her 21 day incubation.....
