My last day of peace!

Today is the last day of peace before the children come home - although I am really, really looking forward to seeing them again!

Ian and I haven't been on a walk on our own for ages so we thought that we ought to make the most of today and headed off to Kingley Vale - its a beautiful place - I cannot believe that we have never been there before. The Yew trees there are so old that it does make you wonder what they have witnessed over the years - they have estimated that they are between 500 and 2000 years old!

The other thing about Kingley Vale were the number of butterflies - they were everywhere!
