Parker's Piece

We had a trip out to Cambridge today. This dramatic sky did later give a dramatic shower. In the bottom left, the 'Reality Checkpoint' lamp post can be seen. It was , allegedly, the first electrified lamp post in Cambridge. Apparently, in the 1970's some students etched the words 'Reality checkpoint' on the lamp post and it has gained student folklore status ever since.

We went for 'noodles out' later, therefore, no washing up tonight. On the way home we called in on Wicken Fen, a local nature reserve for a march around the boardwalk there. A little bit of exercise.
